Jerry Richard Knick was convicted of second degree murder in the shooting death of his wife, Lisa Vincent Knick. Defendant, a deputy sheriff of Rockbridge County, claimed that in an effort to frighten her, he pulled his service revolver and pointed it at his wife, who was seated on the floor.
