On May 1, 1989, defendant, Annie Mae Craig, was charged by grand jury indictment with five counts of distribution of cocaine, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967 A. After a jury trial on October 18, 1989, defendant was found guilty on all counts as charged. On February 2, 1990, defendant was sentenced to twelve years on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently and a $1,500 fine.
