The defendant, Robert Kent, was charged by bill of information with driving while intoxicated, in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:98. After a bench trial, the district court judge found the defendant guilty as charged and sentenced him to pay a $350.00 fine and court costs, to perform four 8-hour days of community service, and to attend driver improvement school.
