This case involves the decision of the Iowa Civil Rights Commission (commission) to sua sponte reopen an investigation into alleged age discrimination at John Deere (Deere) in Waterloo, Iowa. The investigation was reopened more than three years after the commission had issued a no-probable-cause order involving the same persons and complaints.
