The defendant, Ray Anthony Harris, was indicted for first degree murder; a jury, after having been instructed on self-defense, first degree murder and second degree murder, found the defendant guilty of first degree murder. He was sentenced to 30 years imprisonment. The defendant's sole contention is that the instruction on second degree murder coupled with the State's closing argument constituted reversible...
