Jean Arias appeals her convictions and sentences for attempted first degree murder and for solicitation to commit murder. We reverse.

Arias was accused of trying to kill an infant born with severe birth defects. Shortly after the child was born, she was placed under special nursing supervision twenty four hours a day.
