The defendant, Andrew Johnson, and his codefendant, Terry Sanders, were indicted by a Cook County grand jury for the murder of William Feuling with three counts of murder (Ill.Rev.Stat.1983, ch. 38, pars. 9-1(a)(1) through (a)(3)), armed robbery (Ill. Rev.Stat.1983, ch. 38, par. 18-2(a)), one count of attempted murder of Brian Walkowiak, and one count of attempted murder...
