Defendants the University of Vermont (UVM) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) appeal from the entry of summary judgment for the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Inc., and People for Animal Rights, Inc. The court declared that the IACUC is subject to Vermont's Open Meeting Law and Public Records Act and enjoined the IACUC from violating these acts.
