This is a personal injury suit. Plaintiff-appellant, Darwin R. Cotton, sued Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., defendant-appellee, for damages allegedly sustained in a slip and fall accident at a Wal-Mart store in Pineville, Louisiana. After trial on the merits the jury rendered in favor of defendant finding that no hazardous condition existed to cause the plaintiff's fall.
