The defendants, Bogator, Inc. (Bogator), B & M Tree Surgery, Inc. (B & M), and Alfred M. Craft, appeal an adverse judgment establishing a materialman's lien under the Private Works Act, LSA-R.S. 9:4801 et seq. The judgment, which rejected defendants' defense of redhibition, established the lien on the property constructed in the amount of $7,496.05, together with legal interest and costs, plus attorney fees in the amount of $4,000.00.
