In 1983 Crenshaw brought this action against Georgia Underwriting Association for damages arising from a refusal to pay a claim on an insurance policy. Crenshaw's action was dismissed without prejudice in 1989 on grounds that no order had been taken in the case for a period of five years. See OCGA §§ 9-2-60 (b); 9-11-41 (e).
