Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty of first degree murder (Ill. Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 9-1), attempt murder (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, pars. 8-4, 9-1), armed violence (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 33A-2), and aggravated battery (Ill.Rev.Stat.1987, ch. 38, par. 12-4). Defendant was sentenced to concurrent terms of 60 years imprisonment for first degree murder, 30 years imprisonment for attempt...
