Defendant-appellant, Roosevelt Partee, was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of Neb.Rev. Stat. § 28-1206 (Reissue 1989), and was determined to be a habitual criminal within the purview of Neb.Rev.Stat. § 29-2221 (Reissue 1989). He was thereafter sentenced to imprisonment for a period of not less than 20 nor more than 50 years. He asserts the district court erred in (1) overruling his motion to suppress...
