Plaintiff-appellant Marjorie Barsz initiated a negligence action against defendant-appellee Max Shapiro, Inc., d/b/a Shapiro's Delicatessen Cafeteria (Shapiro's), to recover for personal injuries Mrs. Barsz sustained when she slipped and fell while walking in Shapiro's.
