This case comes to us on appeal from two orders of the circuit court of Kane County. The first order, entered on December 11, 1989, found respondent, Ralph Nau, to be a person subject to involuntary admission and directed that he be committed to the Department of Mental Health Facility in Elgin, Illinois. The second order, entered on May 9, 1990, continued respondent's involuntary hospitalization in the Elgin facility...
