DAVIS, J.:

Richard A. Gaschler appeals his convictions of driving while under the influence of alcohol and transporting an open container of liquor, in violation of K.S.A. 8-1567 and K.S.A. 41-804. He contends that the sentence imposed by the court was beyond the court's authority, that he was inadequately represented by counsel, and that the court reporter fabricated portions of the transcripts of the plea hearing and sentencing hearing.
