Defendant Delmar Summers was convicted of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree rape, and first-degree sexual offense. He was sentenced to life in prison for the first-degree rape and to a consecutive life sentence for the first-degree sex offense. The trial court arrested judgment for the first-degree kidnapping; defendant was sentenced to a further consecutive term of thirty years in prison for second-degree kidnapping.
