James L. Bravo was charged by bill of information on November 11, 1990, with violations of R.S. 14:95.1, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and R.S. 40:967, possession with intent to distribute cocaine. At his arraignment on November 19, 1990, he pled not guilty. At a hearing on the motions on December 6, 1991, the trial court found probable cause to arrest the defendant; the decision on the Motion to Suppress the Evidence was held open...
