Plaintiff, Daiwa Bank, Limited (Daiwa), initially brought this matter as an interlocutory appeal pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 307(a)(1) (134 Ill.2d R. 307(a)(1)). Daiwa appealed from an order of the circuit court of Kane County directing it to release a mortgage it held on property owned by the defendants, La Salle National trust No. 11586 and Lakes of Dundee Development Venture (collectively, Venture), upon payment...
