Justice SLATER delivered the opinion of the court:

The defendant, Willie Clarence Davis, was charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of burglary. He pled guilty to one count of first degree murder and received a sentence of natural life imprisonment. Thereafter, he filed a motion to reduce sentence or withdraw his plea. The trial court denied the motion, and the defendant appeals.
