Haynes sued McCambry and Doe to recover damages for injuries allegedly sustained when McCambry's car collided with the car he was driving. The complaint alleged that McCambry and Doe, an unknown driver of a third car, were jointly and severally negligent and liable for plaintiff's injuries.
