This case is before us the second time. Defendant, Michael Jones, along with codefendant, James Nowden, was charged by indictment with five counts of murder, one count of rape, one count of robbery, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, one count of conspiracy, and one count of unlawful restraint. Following a joint jury trial in 1985, both defendants were found guilty of murder, aggravated kidnapping, rape and robbery...
