FACTS

Brenda and Owen Golay were married on August 7, 1976, and remained together until March 1991. They are the parents of two minor children: Carmen, born September 27, 1979; and Lance, born October 26, 1989. At the time of trial, Brenda was thirty-three years old, and Owen was thirty-four.
