The defendant, Jerry Milam, appeals his conviction for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (Ill.Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 56½, par. 1402(b)). We affirm.

Prior to trial, the defendant filed a motion to quash arrest and suppress evidence. At the hearing on the motion, Deputy Ken Vitek testified that on August 7, 1989, around 10 a.m., he spoke to a confidential informant. On at least 10 previous occasions...
