After a jury trial, defendant Juan Ramirez was convicted of first degree murder and concealment of a homicidal death (Ill. Rev.Stat.1989, ch. 38, pars. 9-1 and 9-3.1), and was sentenced to concurrent terms of 35 years and 5 years, respectively. On appeal, defendant has raised numerous issues.
