After the trial court had denied the defendant commissioner's motion to strike this wrongful death action from the jury docket to which it had been claimed, the commissioner successfully applied for certification that "a substantial public interest is involved, and that delay may work a substantial injustice" in order to appeal from this interlocutory ruling pursuant to General Statutes § 52-265a.
