Edward Matthew Rife was convicted of armed robbery, and he appeals from the denial of his motion for a new trial.

In his sole enumeration of error, appellant contends the trial court erred by denying his motion in limine to exclude an oral statement he had made in police custody that he had robbed the victim but not with a knife, as charged.
