Before us are two separate appeals lodged by appellant Kenneth Pate ("Pate"). He appeals the judgment of sentence entered against him on May 24, 1984, and from an order denying relief in part under the Post-Conviction Relief Act ("PCRA"). This latter order was entered in February, 1991.
