CALLAHAN, J.

The defendant, Tino Negron, was charged in an amended information with the crimes of murder, felony murder, attempted robbery and carrying a pistol without a permit. After a jury trial he was convicted of felony murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54c1 and carrying a pistol without a permit in violation of General Statutes §§ 29-35 and 29-37 (b).
