ZAPPALA, Justice.

Appellant, John Spiewak, was charged on December 12, 1987, with having engaged in involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with his fifteen year old stepdaughter, J.K., between June and December, 1983. 18 Pa.C.S. § 3123(5).1 After a jury trial, Appellant was found guilty of one count and sentenced to a term of imprisonment of five to ten years.
