[As amended by order of the Court of Appeals March 31, 1992.]

PEKELIS, J.

Robert J. Chorney appeals from an order committing him for up to 14 days of involuntary psychiatric treatment. Chorney contends the trial court erred in failing to make a determination on the question of whether he had "not in good faith volunteered" within the meaning of RCW 71.05.230(2). We agree with Chorney's contention.
