The Brookline retirement board (local board) appeals from a judgment of the Superior Court affirming a decision of the Contributory Retirement Appeal Board (CRAB) which allowed the claimant's application for accidental disability retirement benefits under G.L.c. 32, § 7. As both parties have placed principal reliance on Quincy Retirement Bd. v. Contributory Retirement Appeal Bd., 340 Mass. 56
