Snodgrass appeals from his convictions by a jury of aggravated kidnapping (K.S.A. 21-3421), rape (K.S.A. 21-3502), aggravated sodomy (K.S.A. 21-3506), and aggravated assault (K.S.A. 21-3410). The issues on appeal involve the admission in evidence of the defendant's statement to police and the denial by the trial court of a request for a continuance so that the defendant could obtain DNA testing...
