Ruth R. Ungar and her husband, Norbert T. Ungar, lost their medical malpractice claim against Dr. Jacob C. Handelsman when summary judgment was entered against them in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City. They contend that summary judgment should not have been granted, either because the record disclosed contested issues of material facts, or because the trial judge abused his discretion in not continuing the hearing to permit them to obtain counsel...
