Appellant was convicted in a jury trial of armed robbery and appeals the trial court's denial of his motion for new trial.

The evidence adduced at trial shows that on September 2, 1989, at approximately 2:45 p. m., two black males entered a small grocery store and robbed the owner at gunpoint, one with a pistol and the other with a shotgun.
