On 1 July 1988 appellee, Keeneland Associates, Inc. ("Keeneland"), obtained a judgment against appellant, William R. Dixon ("Dixon"), in the state of Kentucky. Dixon subsequently appealed the judgment against him to the Kentucky Court of Appeals where he argued for the first time that the trial court lacked personal jurisdiction to render the judgment against him. On 22 December 1989, the Kentucky Court of Appeals ruled that Dixon had waived the issue...
