There is more to the art of choosing and installing house siding than the uninitiated might imagine. In this case, the plaintiffs complained that the defendants chose the wrong siding material and installed it badly. Upon the report of a master to whom the task of finding facts had been referred (see Mass.R.Civ.P. 53, as amended, 386 Mass. 1237 [1982]), a judge of the Superior Court entered judgment against the defendants in the amount of $509,914, plus interest...
