The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of aiding and abetting the sale of narcotics in violation of General Statutes §§ 21a-278 (b) and 53a-8. He claims that the trial court improperly (1) refused to strike the entire testimony of the state's key witness pursuant to Practice Book § 755 and General Statutes § 54-86,1
