Ann M. Thomas brought this action against Dr. Thomas Plumley and Kadlec Emergency Medical Center (Kadlec) alleging medical negligence, lack of informed consent and violation of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Prior to trial, the court granted summary judgment in favor of Kadlec and Dr. Plumley on the CPA claim.
