Johnnie J. George and Samuel A. Middleton appeal their exceptional sentences imposed for crimes against a 77-year-old woman during the course of a robbery they committed together. Because the crimes were committed during the course of the same robbery and therefore involve similar circumstances, and because the trial court relied on much the same reasons in setting the exceptional sentences for both, we discuss the propriety of the reasons common to both...
