Defendant appeals as of right from an October 26, 1988, judgment of divorce as well as the separate July 6, 1988, judgment awarding plaintiff $113,087 in damages for fraud. The fraud claim was based upon misrepresentations made by defendant to obtain plaintiff's assistance in helping him immigrate to the United States from the former Soviet Union.
