This is a Title VII case in which plaintiff, a black female, charged that the city of Jasper, Alabama discriminated against her in wage rate and discharged her in retaliation for her filing of a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She sought money damages, a declaratory judgment, and an injunction. The city asserted that it had indefinitely suspended plaintiff because it discovered that she had falsified her application...
