This appeal arises from a habeas corpus proceeding in the District Court for the Middle District of Florida in which Petitioner Alphonso Cave, convicted of murder and sentenced to death, raised thirteen claims for relief. The district court held an evidentiary hearing on Petitioner's claim of constitutionally ineffective assistance of trial counsel.
