DUBINA, Circuit Judge:

John W. Morris, d/b/a John Morris Building Systems ("Morris"), appeals the district court's judgment that the bankruptcy court did not have jurisdiction to hear his adversary proceeding against the Anniston Housing Authority ("the Authority") after his Chapter 11 bankruptcy case was dismissed. For the reasons which follow, we reverse the district court.
