The grand jury empaneled on November 13, 1990, issued and had served upon Richard Arrington Jr., Mayor of the City of Birmingham, Alabama, a subpoena duces tecum directing him to appear at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12, 1991, and there to produce to the said grand jury records which, essentially, amount to his calendar of events and schedules or agenda for the years 1986...
