Appellant, Ralph Medrano, was charged with and found guilty by a jury of first-degree kidnapping. I.C. § 18-4502. Medrano was sentenced to an indeterminate term of life, with a fixed term in prison of eighteen years. At trial the court denied a motion to suppress the testimony of law enforcement personnel on the grounds that the motion was untimely under I.C.R. 12(d).
