STAPLETON, Circuit Judge:

In this appeal from the district court's denial of relief in a habeas corpus proceeding, 729 F.Supp. 398, Gary Lee Rock asks us to set aside his 1985 Pennsylvania state court convictions on two counts of firstdegree murder, four counts of attempted murder, and two counts of aggravated assault.
