Clyde A. Pfluger appeals from the district court's1 grant of summary judgment in favor of Southview Chevrolet Co. (Southview) on his claims of defamation and age discrimination. We affirm.

Southview hired Pfluger as a radiator repairman in 1967. He worked for Southview until May 15, 1989, at which time his employment was terminated after an independent audit of Southview's records revealed that he had not completed...
