Defendant appeals from the district court's final order on a metropolitan court appeal. On appeal, Defendant argues that the district court should have granted his motion to dismiss because the case was not brought to trial in the metropolitan court within six months as required by SCRA 1986, 7-506(B) (Repl. 1990).
