John Matthew Zierden ("defendant") was tried by jury and convicted of forgery, a class 4 felony, with two prior felony convictions. The trial court sentenced the defendant to a presumptive term of ten years imprisonment and ordered him to pay restitution for an uncharged forgery offense.
